THE POLICY MATH

Plan around a 12% close rate.

Use 12% as a planning expectation, not a promise or a claim of measured historical performance. Cost per written policy equals lead spend divided by the number of policies actually written. To measure your own rate, see how to calculate an insurance lead conversion rate, then track leads from first reply to written policy.

Illustrative monthCalculationResult
Qualified leads at the Scale rate200 × $25$5,000 lead spend
Expected policies at 12%200 × 12%24 policies
Lead cost per policy$5,000 ÷ 24$208.33

This example uses the Scale plan’s $25 lead rate, available at 200+ qualified leads per month: $25 ÷ 12% = $208.33 per written policy. It includes lead spend only; your agency’s labor and other operating costs are separate. Other lead tiers have different economics. If no policies are written, there is no meaningful finite cost per acquired policy.

THE EXCLUSIVE ADVANTAGE

One lead. One agency. Your opportunity.

Shared leads put multiple agencies in pursuit of the same inquiry. Homefield starts a direct email conversation in your agency’s name and delivers the interested reply only to you. Less competition for the same lead gives your team more room to build the relationship and earn the policy.

SHARED-LEAD PRODUCTS

One inquiry.
Multiple buyers.

Other agencies can receive the same lead and compete for the same policy.

  • The inquiry can go to more than one agent
  • Your team competes to reach the homeowner
  • A lower lead price can still mean a higher cost per policy

HOMEFIELD · ALWAYS EXCLUSIVE

Your email.
Your conversation.

A homeowner replies to your agency. That qualified reply belongs only to you.

  • One agency receives each Homefield lead
  • Never shared or resold by Homefield
  • Your territory is protected within Homefield

Both providers also offer exclusive products; confirm the insurance line and product terms. Homeowners can still shop independently, and close rates depend on your follow-up, carrier fit, and pricing.

PRICING QUESTIONS

The details before you start.

Are all plans exclusive?

Yes. Every qualified Homefield lead is delivered only to your agency and is never shared or resold by Homefield. Your agency also receives protected territory within the Homefield network.

What is the minimum monthly lead volume?

There is a 60-lead monthly minimum, starting at $2,100/month. Starter covers 60–99 exclusive leads at $35 per lead. Elite Growth covers 100–199 at $30 per lead, and Scale covers 200 or more at $25 per lead.

What is included in my lead program?

Your program includes exclusive home insurance leads, protected territory within Homefield, managed email campaigns, and your reply dashboard.

Am I billed for every email sent?

No. You pay the applicable price per qualified lead. Sending an email, receiving a bounce, or receiving a decline does not create a billable lead.

Can I cap lead volume?

Yes. Choose a monthly lead cap of at least 60 leads to match your agency’s follow-up capacity. Confirm your volume and applicable rate during onboarding.
